Moroccan ’Masterchef’ Alum Stirs Controversy on Spanish ’Survivor’ Show

Samya Aghbalou is on her way to becoming one of the most controversial candidates of the new season of Survivors (Supervivientes). The young Moroccan stands out for her outspokenness and provocative character.
The Moroccan woman began to make headlines even at the airport before her departure for Honduras where "Supervivientes" takes place. Known for her outspokenness, Samya Aghbalou commented on the participation of Terelu Campos, the daughter of María Teresa Campos, in the reality TV show. Her intervention became viral on social networks, reports La Razon.
Samya became known in 2024, when she had participated in the "Masterchef" program and stood out as the "villain of the season". The young Moroccan defines herself as "authentic" and "provocative". "I’m Muslim, but sometimes. For example, when I go out to party, I sometimes feel like drinking and then praying... For me, praying five times a day every day of the year seems a lot to me," she had said during her presentation on the show.
Eliminated last year from "Masterchef" at the gates of the final, Samya now finds herself in Honduras to participate in "Supervivientes". The influencer with 26,000 Instagram followers, who does not mince her words, is on her way to becoming one of the most controversial candidates of this season.
