Moroccan Man Critically Injured in Fall from Palma Apartment Balcony

A man of Moroccan nationality was hospitalized, during the past week, at Son Espases, in serious condition, after rushing from the third floor of a building.
The real causes of this incident are still under investigation. According to Ultima hora, the scene took place on the evening of Tuesday, September 3, on Aragón street in Palma. The man was hanging from the balcony and holding a sheet.
His wife, who had noticed the scene, tried to hold him back to prevent the fall, but without success. She tried to ask their son for help, but when they returned to the terrace, the man had already jumped from the balcony.
Several witnesses who witnessed the scene informed the emergency services, who sent an ambulance, as well as the local police of Palma who went to the scene.
The man, who later regained consciousness, was urgently transferred to the Son Espases hospital, where he is still in serious condition.
The police, who are not ruling out any hypothesis, continue to investigate the causes of the accident, in order to determine what really happened before the man decided to hang a sheet on the balcony of his house and jump from the third floor, while his wife and son were inside the house.
