Moroccan Man’s Controversial Behavior on Spanish Dating Show Sparks Social Media Backlash

The Moroccan Med Ouahbi had his moment of fame on social networks since his participation two weeks ago in the Spanish TV show "First Dates". The young man is accused of having been very unpleasant to a candidate.

In the show, the video of which has become viral on social networks, we can feel the tension and discomfort that reigned due to Med Ouahbi’s described unpleasant attitude towards Luisa. Several Internet users reacted on Twitter about the "lessons" he was giving the young woman during this date.

When ordering dinner, Med let the young woman know that he had already ordered his dish and that he would not be having dessert, as he only ate fruit. Luisa then asked him if he went to the gym and if he was in a reduction or gain phase. "Reduction? There are 3 types of phases. There’s bodybuilding, maintenance, and what else?" he reacted. "And loss," Luisa replied. "Loss for what? It’s toning, bodybuilding," he retorted.

Despite the discomfort, the single woman continued to hold the conversation with Med, who went so far as to test her on her medical knowledge, asking her the amount of water contained in the human body, to which Luisa answered. The young woman wanted to know why Med didn’t tell her he was originally from Morocco. The young man replied that he was not a parrot and that he only spoke if asked. He also claimed to speak fluently in 7 languages and did not hesitate to test Luisa, who told him she spoke English and German.

The young woman declared that she still had a lot of things to tell him, but that she was not willing to do so because she was having "the worst date" of her life. Born in Morocco, Med has lived in Fuerteventura since a young age. This is the second time he has participated in Carlos Sobera’s show. The first time, he arrived proudly displaying a Spanish flag to show that he had participated in the Míster International España beauty pageant in 2019. At the time, he had also made another candidate have a bad evening.
