Moroccan Man Arrested for Fatal Stabbing of Father in Inheritance Dispute

A young man coldly murdered his father on Friday using a bladed weapon in Khenifra.
Confined to their homes, the inhabitants of the Mzizt douar in the commune of Lakbaba in the province of Khénifra were shaken this May 1st by a parricide of which an 85-year-old man was the victim.
According to Barlamane, his son would have stabbed him several times, leaving him lifeless and lying in his blood, before fleeing. The accused would have committed this despicable crime because of an inheritance.
Alerted, the gendarmes arrived on the scene. The body of the deceased was transferred to the morgue for an autopsy.
An investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to determine the ins and outs of this case.
