Moroccan Lawmaker Banned from National Exams for 2 Years After Cheating Attempt

Just a few days after being caught with three mobile phones during the baccalaureate exam, which is strictly prohibited by law, deputy Noureddine Qchibel has just been sanctioned.
Thus, the Disciplinary Commission that rules in cases of exam fraud has just deprived the parliamentarian from the PJD party of the baccalaureate exams for a period of 2 years. Concretely, he will not be able to take the baccalaureate exam this year or the next.
A source within this commission, quoted by the Hespress website, explains that "the punishment does not only concern deputy Noureddine Kchibel, but also students registered for a free or regular baccalaureate and who were in possession of mobile phones during the exams".
As the same source indicates, this commission is composed of a supervisor, in addition to a representative of the regional directorate, and an education inspector.
To recall, Noureddine Kchibel, a deputy from the Taounat region, was caught last week with mobile phones as he was about to take his exam as a free candidate in a high school in Rabat. Making his mea culpa, he swears that he was unaware that the law prohibits the possession of a phone during the exam.
