King Mohammed VI Expected to Vacation in Coastal Moroccan Town of M’diq

King Mohammed VI is said to have chosen to spend his summer vacation in M’diq, a coastal town in the Tangier region.
Mohammed VI is expected in the coming days in M’diq, a town where he should spend his summer vacation, believes El Debate, recalling that last year the Moroccan Sovereign had also spent part of his summer vacation in this coastal town. The authorities of the city are preparing to welcome the monarch who should celebrate Eid al-Adha scheduled for June 16 in his palace in Tetouan before returning to M’diq.
After a stay in M’diq, Mohammed VI usually spends the rest of his summer vacation in his two properties in France: a townhouse located in Paris, not far from the Eiffel Tower, which he bought in 2020 for 80 million euros, and a castle located in the commune of Betz, on a 70-hectare farm. A property acquired by his late father, King Hassan II, in 1972.
The King of Morocco owns several properties in different countries, including a house located in the Tanzanian archipelago of Zanzibar, which he bought in 2016 and spent seven years renovating to his liking. The work was interrupted in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, this palace is one of the most majestic properties of the Moroccan monarch.
