Moroccan Kickboxer Beztati Dominates Glory Welterweight Debut, Eyes World Title Shot

Tyjani Beztati made a sensational entry into the welterweight division of Glory by defeating former world champion Endy Semeleer in a fight at the Topsportcentrum in Rotterdam. The jury rendered a unanimous verdict in favor of the "Wonderboy", awarding him the victory.
From the start, Beztati, 25, took control of the first round. Semeleer, lagging behind, never managed to reverse the trend. The Moroccan and Surinamese Dutch kickboxer displayed his technical qualities, evading his opponent’s attacks to chain precise and powerful strikes.
Buoyed by his dominance, Beztati already has his sights set on the next challenge: the reigning world champion, Chico Kwasi. "Champion against champion, he’s next," declared the new belt holder. "This fight will be even easier than this one," he added, brimming with confidence.
Surrounded by his friends and family, including Dutch international Xavi Simons, Beztati expressed his gratitude for their support. "It’s very important to me that he’s there," the fighter said of Simons’ presence. "But it’s not just Xavi, it’s also my other friends, my family and my team. My eyes immediately turned to them after the fight. I’m so grateful to them."
