Moroccan Journalist Leila Ghandi Honored with Global Women’s Achievement Award in Athens

Leila Ghandi has just received the "Who is who" Prize, which honors pioneering women around the world, in recognition of her creativity and numerous collaborations in the field of information and women’s rights.
The Moroccan laureate received the Prize from the hands of the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs and Maritime Trade, John Palakyotakis, during a ceremony that saw the crowning of 13 pioneering women in various fields.
According to the organizers, Leila Ghandi, considered a source of inspiration for an entire generation of women, is an eminent personality who has marked the world of the media both at the Moroccan and international levels.
In her speech, the laureate said she was proud and happy to have won this Prize and to have had the opportunity, once again, to raise the national flag. "I have had the honor of receiving several prizes in my career. But my greatest reward is the testimonies and messages I receive every day, thanking me for having added something to people’s lives," she said.
A television host and producer, Leila Ghandi is an international speaker at the United Nations and the European Parliament, who has dedicated her life to the fight for women’s rights, the environment and intercultural exchanges.
