The Moroccan Association for Research and Development (R&D Maroc) has announced the signing of seven new support agreements targeting startups and innovative companies.

In total, 510 projects were received over the past three years following the 5 calls launched by R&D Maroc to project leaders, mainly young people from the university environment.

After study, 42 projects were selected to be supported: technical and economic feasibility, prototyping, intellectual property protection, product testing on the market and start-up creation. The amount of funding dedicated to supporting the 35 selected projects amounts to 6.3 MDH.

To date, 12 startups have completed their development plan, 16 are very advanced and 7 are in the process of starting up, the association points out.
