Moroccan Influencer Exposes Schengen Visa Appointment Scam, Prices Soar to 6000 Dirhams

In Morocco, a Schengen visa appointment is sold for 4000, 5000 or even 6000 dirhams by intermediaries. This is the observation made by Moroccan YouTuber and streamer Bilal Fraiha who cries out in indignation.
Moroccans continue to suffer under the law of Schengen visa appointment intermediaries. In a video published on social media, Moroccan YouTuber and streamer Bilal Fraiha stated that intermediaries demand exorbitant fees in exchange for obtaining visa appointments. For example, they asked him to pay 4000 dirhams to get one. "This is not acceptable, we should not normalize such actions. Why should I give 4,000 dirhams to someone just to get a visa appointment?" Fraiha wonders. He adds: "And moreover, my application could easily be rejected, without apparent reason, and the 4,000 dirhams would be wasted."
According to Fraiha, some people have been asked to pay up to 5,000 dirhams and 6,000 for the same service. This practice continues to the great dismay of Moroccan Schengen visa applicants (students, professionals, and tourists). "Students already enrolled in European Union universities are currently the most affected, as they must obtain a visa to be able to enter the country where they will pursue their studies."
Based on these observations, the YouTuber calls on authorities to intervene and put an end to these exploitations and these brokers who manipulate the appointment system.
