Moroccan Immigrant Group Condemns Racist Attacks on Real Madrid Star Vinícius Junior

The Moroccan Association for the Integration of Immigrants, based in Malaga, has condemned the racist insults against Vinicius Junior, the Brazilian winger of Real Madrid.
The Moroccan association has joined the wave of solidarity towards the Brazilian player, victim of racist and xenophobic attacks. According to the NGO based in Malaga, hate crimes increased by 6% in 2021, which is why it has launched an awareness and information campaign on the existence within it of a free socio-legal service for victims of hate crimes.
Called "Breaking the Silence", this campaign aims to highlight this service, which has already benefited several victims of racist crimes. It includes a team of lawyers specializing in immigration, hate crimes and human rights issues; a team of social workers and mediators in order to provide comprehensive support to victims and their families, from the complaint to the completion of the process.
This completely free socio-legal service is responsible for advising victims on the steps to follow to file a complaint with the police and/or judicial authorities, assisting them throughout the procedure, informing them of their rights and ensuring their respect.
