Moroccan Hypermarket Chain Aswak Assalam to Launch Home Delivery Service

Aswak Assalam hypermarket chain will soon launch a new home delivery service.
According to l’Économiste, this e-commerce service will be operational in the coming days in Casablanca and Mohammedia, and then extended to other cities (Rabat, Marrakech, Kenitra, Agadir, etc.).
According to the same media, customers will be able to order, via a dedicated website, all kinds of products and have them delivered to their homes according to a delivery schedule. During this health crisis, the retail chain is committed to providing free deliveries within a 20 km radius around the store.
To be impeccable throughout the confinement period, the Ynna Holding large-scale distribution chain has strengthened the health measures in all its hypermarkets. "Equipment, surfaces and shopping carts are disinfected throughout the day," it is assured.
In addition to these precautions, there are floor markings at the checkouts and in the queues to encourage customers to respect the one-meter safety distance, and the installation of hand disinfection devices at the entrance and exit of the store, with agents stationed next to them to urge customers to follow the instructions.
Furthermore, exposed employees, such as cashiers, have been equipped with masks, gloves, disinfectant products and disposable gowns. As for the most vulnerable people, such as those suffering from chronic diseases or pregnant women, they have been asked to stay at home.
