Moroccan Hotel Sparks Outrage with $10 Water Charge, Raising Tourism Concerns

The prices charged by some hotel establishments in Morocco are once again denounced by Internet users. This is what just happened in Agadir.
Indeed, according to Agadir24, a hotel customer was presented with an invoice with outrageous rates. That of a bottle of mineral water was set at 100 dirhams, while an orange juice cost 160 dirhams.
This situation has gone viral on social media where Internet users have not failed to denounce such a practice likely to undermine tourism in the city, especially since tourists theoretically have a reference of the rates for services and products.
The same observation was made a few weeks ago in Marrakech where a restaurant had billed several thousand dirhams to foreign tourists. Strongly criticized, the manager had justified his prices by claiming that the dishes served were among the most refined in the city...
