Moroccan Hospital Refutes Link Between COVID-19 Vaccine and Young Girl’s Death

The death recorded of a young girl at the Avicenne University Hospital Center (CHU) in Rabat is not related to the administration of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine.
On Friday, the center’s officials put an end to the rumors spread by some sources, linking the death of a young girl to the vaccine she would have taken.
In a statement, the CHU assured that "the cause of death is in no way related to the vaccine, based on thorough medical examinations and analyzes included in the medical report".
And to add that "these tendentious allegations aim to disrupt the national efforts deployed to vaccinate the target categories and to undermine the action of the health authorities by the fabrication and dissemination of information devoid of any foundation".
Furthermore, the CHU took the opportunity to reassure about the smooth running of the vaccination operation in "normal conditions", as well as "no serious complications or deaths have been reported among the citizens who are being vaccinated in this center".
