Moroccan Hospital Faces Critical Shortage of COVID Medicines and Staff

Associative actors have come to the aid of the Tetouan hospital, which is suffering from a severe shortage of anti-Covid medicines and a lack of medical staff. Several batches of medicines intended for patients admitted to intensive care have been donated to this hospital.
The batch of medicines offered is intended for serious cases, without great means and who need an expensive treatment, reports Al Ahdath Al Maghribia. These are strong antibiotics and anticoagulants, very expensive and which are injected into these patients twice a day.
In the absence of these medicines, the already critical health condition of these patients is deteriorating. The resurgence of new contaminations is feared to lead to a second shortage of medicines in this hospital, already facing a shortage of health personnel, specifies the same daily.
Some even fear a complication of the situation due to the increase in active cases. As for the medical team, exhausted, they are about to throw in the towel. The same source recommends looking for alternative solutions in order to avoid the catastrophe. In this hospital, eyes are turned to other associative actors who could support them in these precarious conditions.
