The Lycée d’Excellence de Benguérir (Lydex) has once again distinguished itself in the entrance exams for French engineering schools. This year, 13 of its students were admitted to the entrance exam for the École Polytechnique in Paris.
Out of a total of 33 Moroccan students admitted after the written and oral exams of the prestigious Parisian engineering school, 14, or more than a third of the admitted students, come from Lydex. Among them, 6 are girls.
The Lycée had 24 students eligible for the École Polytechnique in Paris after the written exams, 14 of whom successfully passed the oral exam. In the end, 13 of them chose to join the X, while one student chose to join the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Lyon.
In addition, Lydex also managed to place 20 of its students in the prestigious CentraleSupélec. To this are added the 16 places out of 24, won during the international competition for the MP (mathematics and physics) stream, in the same French school.
