Moroccan Hackers Strike Back in Escalating Cyber Conflict with Algeria

In response to the recent cyberattack by Algerian hackers, their Moroccan counterparts have reacted, targeting many Algerian government websites on the Internet.
Moroccan and Algerian hackers have been engaged in a fierce electronic war for the past few days. It all started with a recent attack by Algerian hackers on the website of the Faculty of Sciences, Dhar El Mahraz in Fez. The attack did not cause any serious damage, the situation has since been completely under control and the university’s IT technicians are keeping a close eye on it.
In an offensive, Moroccan hackers have set their sights on several Algerian institutions. Thus, a website affiliated with the Algerian Ministry of National Education was hacked by very active Moroccan hackers in social media groups. In the wake of this, their Algerian "counterparts" responded with a similar hacking targeting university websites, such as the Higher School of Arts and Crafts in Rabat.
In this electronic conflict, Moroccan hacker groups called "Moroccan Hackers" or "Moroccan Forces of Deterrence" have taken over websites belonging to Algerian government agencies, while activists have regained control of Moroccan university sites that had been hacked by Algerians.
These groups have also posted on their page photos showing the control of Algerian sites and others such as those belonging to the Polisario separatists, especially when the tone rises between Rabat and Algiers. We also find the websites of the Algerian government and published photos of the entire map of Morocco with its Sahara, stamped with the phrase: "There is no victor except God."
