After the meeting of its Central Discipline and Fair Play Commission, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has decided to severely sanction several clubs and players. Here are the details:
• Four matches behind closed doors for the Olympic Club of Safi (OCS), along with a fine of 80,000 dirhams in addition to the repair of the damage caused by the club’s supporters after their assessment by the administration of the Grand Stadium of Marrakech. The sanction comes following acts of violence and banners raised by the club’s supporters containing texts that undermine human dignity, in addition to the use of flares (repeat offence/5th time) as well as the damage caused to the facilities of the Grand Stadium during the match against Kawkab Athletic Club of Marrakech (KACM).
• A fine of 50,000 dirhams against KACM after the use of flares by its supporters (repeat offence/2nd time) and the entry onto the playing field of one of the supporters during the OCS match, which led to the suspension of the match.
• Suspension of Mehdi Zaya, KACM player, for three matches behind closed doors with a fine of 3,000 dirhams after his expulsion during the match against OCS.
• A fine of 2,000 dirhams against KACM after its players received three cautions and one expulsion during the match against OCS.
