Moroccan Fish Supplier Arrested for Massive Check Fraud Scheme in Essaouira

An entrepreneur accused of distributing more than 400 bounced checks to his suppliers has been arrested by the judicial police in the city of Essaouira.
His victims are mainly suppliers of fresh and frozen fish. After several complaints, the elements of the judicial police set an ambush for him in the industrial district of Essaouira, using his usual driver. Aware that these actions are contrary to the law, he has always made sure not to arouse suspicion by changing cities each time he finishes committing his crimes, reports Al3omk.com.
The man has been wanted for more than a year and a half by the security services of Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat and Essaouira. An investigation has been opened following his arrest and the accused has been taken to the headquarters of the judicial police in Essaouira, pending the completion of the investigation.
