Moroccan Fans Help Clean Brussels Streets After World Cup Celebration Riots

The day after the riots that broke out in Brussels, following Morocco’s victory over Belgium, a clean-up operation was organized in the streets. Among the people who mobilized were Moroccan supporters, who were very quickly accused of being the source of the clashes.
Brussels was the scene of tensions on Sunday evening, linked to the correction inflicted on the Red Devils by the Atlas Lions. Numerous damages were recorded and about ten people were arrested.
These deplorable acts have also shocked several fans of the Atlas Lions who have tried to restore calm in the streets of Brussels. In a video that has gone viral on social networks, we can see Moroccan supporters going back behind the rioters to clean the streets and extinguish the smaller fires lit here and there.
Behaviors that the vast majority of the Belgian-Moroccan community in the country regrets and condemns. As proof, another disappointed supporter declared in another video posted in the late afternoon, "Muslims and Moroccans, that’s not it."
