Moroccan Families Opt for Spanish Schools Over Local Private Education

Foreign missions in Morocco, particularly Spanish and French schools, continue to attract many Moroccans.
Although private schools in Morocco start their promotions several months in advance, their offers do not seem to interest a large part of families, who prefer to turn to foreign missions that offer complete training modules.
According to the Hespress website, training fees in these missions range from 900 to 2,000 dirhams per month, up to 21,000 dirhams per year for Spanish schools. These figures, note the parents, are lower than the rates displayed by Moroccan private schools.
The difference is not limited to the financial aspect, confide some parents, who highlight the cultural, sports and leisure activities, which are almost absent from Moroccan schools.
