Moroccan Expats in Tunisia Receive Free Health Services and Aid During Ramadan

The Association of Moroccan Nationals in Tunisia (ARMAT) organized a medical caravan on Saturday for the benefit of Moroccans residing in Tunis. An opportunity for these people to receive care and health advice in several areas.
According to Tozy Abdeljalil Ben Abdelkader, the president of ARMAT, this health campaign was organized to allow Moroccan expatriates in Tunis living in difficult conditions to have access to care. In total, 120 people not only received quality care, but they also received Ramadan baskets and hygiene kits.
This medical caravan, according to the president of ARMAT, was a success thanks to several partners, including a Tunisian laboratory based in Morocco, the Moroccan Family Planning Association, the Tunisian Association for Reproductive Health, as well as the International Planned Parenthood Federation. On site, there were two general practitioners, a geriatrician, two gynecologists, two psychologists, a dentist, and two midwives.
This is not the first time that ARMAT has organized a solidarity action in favor of Moroccan expatriates in Tunisia. In 2021, 300 families located throughout the Tunisian territory received Ramadan baskets.
