Moroccan Embassy Provides Ramadan Food Aid to Nationals in Turkey Amid Pandemic

The Moroccan embassy in Turkey has taken many solidarity initiatives to support several Moroccan families and students in Ankara during this month of Ramadan and this confinement period, as stated in a press release.
The embassy states that it has taken the initiative to provide donations to Moroccan families established in Ankara, on the occasion of this fasting month and in order to perpetuate the values of mutual aid and cohesion advocated by the Muslim religion and in accordance with the traditions of the generous Moroccan people.
Similarly, it ensures that it has provided food products to 22 Moroccan families established in Ankara and materially affected by the coronavirus pandemic to help them during this sacred month. As part of the group of wives of Arab ambassadors in Turkey, in partnership with the Humanitarian Aid Authority, the kingdom’s mission contributed with more than a hundred food baskets distributed to several families in Ankara and its suburbs affected by the epidemic, the press release states.
In the same dynamic, the embassy of the kingdom has also provided nearly 50 meals for the breaking of the fast for a group of Moroccan students in Ankara, in order to alleviate the difficulties related to the isolation in which they live following the containment measures taken to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
