Moroccan Embassy in Ghana Faces Sexual Harassment Probe as Inspectors Arrive

An inspection mission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is going to the Moroccan embassy in Ghana today, shaken by a complaint of sexual harassment against the ambassador.
Quoted by the site telquel.ma, a source within the ministry says that this mission is composed of two inspectors from the general inspection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a cadre from the consular and social affairs department.
"They will listen to everyone for three days and come back with recommendations," explains an authorized source at the ministry. "We have made sure that a woman is part of the delegation given the nature of the case," explains this source.
In her letter dated early January, Jemimah Flintwood-brace claims to have been "sexually harassed twice in the space of two weeks," detailing two scenes that allegedly occurred on December 11 and 20.
In another letter of which Telquel has a copy, the one who has been employed since September 2017 in the communication service of the embassy indicates that she has submitted her resignation to the ambassador.
Mohamed Farahat was appointed to this position in April 2018 by King Mohammed VI.
