Moroccan Drone Strike Kills Four Polisario Militants Near Buffer Zone

Several Polisario militiamen from Algeria are said to have been killed by a strike from the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) as they entered the buffer zone at the level of Bir Lahlou, in the Sahara.
Have Polisario militiamen perished in a Moroccan drone attack? On Saturday, a drone from the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) is said to have targeted two Polisario Front vehicles that had entered the zone, south of Bir Lahlou, east of the Sand Wall. The military operation resulted in the death of four Polisario militiamen.
This attempt to enter Bir Lahlou, considered by the separatists as part of the liberated territories, came as Polisario leader Brahim Ghali was leading a delegation to an African Union (AU) meeting held on January 10 and 11 in Kampala, Uganda.
Despite this attack, the separatists seem determined to launch armed operations against the FAR in parallel with international and continental events "to show the participants the vitality of the Sahara war".
