Moroccan Drivers Outraged Over Highway Rest Area Prices and Quality

Many Moroccans are dissatisfied with the National Highways Company (ADM). The source of this discontent is the poor quality of rest areas and the high prices of their products and services.
Poor quality of rest areas, increase in prices of products and services offered except for fuel - multiplied by two or three compared to those of large markets and stores -, construction work still in progress... Many users of highways in Morocco are crying out their frustration. They also blame the National Highways Company (ADM) for favoring certain users over others, reports the site al3omk.com. According to them, it provides more lanes for "pass" users, but leaves one or two lanes for those who pay in cash, in addition to their high prices compared to many countries in the world.
The subject is a concern for the deputy of the Party of Authenticity and Modernity, Abdellatif Zaim. The latter asked the Minister of Transport and Equipment about the quality criteria of the network of service stations along the highways in Morocco. From his explanations, it appears that the national highways company is working to ensure the safety and comfort conditions of highway users by developing rest areas during the summer season marked by exceptional traffic. The rest areas "are part of a comprehensive development program recently launched by the national highways company in Morocco as part of its new mission related to services, considering customer satisfaction - the highway user - as an absolute priority," he added.
These rest areas operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing customers to take a necessary break during their trip and benefit from the services of restaurants and vehicle maintenance with oil companies, the "ADM" company specifies on its official website.
