Moroccan Doctors Lead Foreign Enrollment in French Specialized Medical Programs

Moroccan students represent the "first foreign nationality" in the specialized medical training program in France, according to the French embassy in Morocco.
"Out of the 1500 practitioners selected for the specialized medical training diplomas in France, 196 Moroccan doctors and pharmacists have distinguished themselves and represent the 1st foreign nationality of the program," the French embassy in Morocco tweeted on Saturday, welcoming the "exceptional partnership with Morocco."
This "success testifies to the growing appeal of France in the field of health, as a privileged destination for advanced medical training," the French diplomatic representation added, stressing France’s commitment to strengthening this cooperation and continuing to offer this opportunity to Moroccan students to acquire new knowledge in their specialty.
To recall, Moroccans dominated this year’s entrance exam to the École Polytechnique in Paris. Some 41 Moroccans out of 60 foreign students in the CPGE (Preparatory Classes for the Grandes Écoles) track succeeded in this test, a performance that highlights the "Moroccan genius" and enhances Morocco’s image on the international scene.
