Moroccan Doctor in Amsterdam Offers Free Care to Stranded Compatriots Amid Pandemic

A real chain of solidarity has developed among Moroccans around the world during this period of the coronavirus pandemic. A Moroccan doctor has thus opened the doors of his private clinic in Amsterdam to compatriots, stranded following the closure of borders by the Moroccan government.
Since last Friday, Dr. Abdelali Bentohami, president of the "Health for All" association behind the initiative, has offered various medical services to nearly a hundred of his compatriots.
Hailed by the many beneficiaries, the operation, which is carried out in strict compliance with safety instructions, allows the full care of chronic patients, especially diabetics and those with hypertension.
The many people who have been taken care of have expressed their gratitude to the doctor for his dedication to the national cause, his selflessness, and his spirit of solidarity, particularly in this very difficult period.
