Moroccan Diplomats Recalled After Drugging and Theft Incident in Colombia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad has recalled the Moroccan diplomats who were drugged and victims of a theft perpetrated by two prostitutes.
Nasser Bourita’s department summoned to Rabat the Moroccan diplomats, drugged and victims of a theft perpetrated by two young escorts. They have already returned to Morocco. According to a diplomatic source, it is two employees - a diplomat and an accountant - and not three. They have already returned to Morocco, and a disciplinary council was also held at the central administration level in Rabat, in accordance with the laws and procedures in force. "They have already appeared before a disciplinary council. An investigation is underway to determine additional and more serious measures against them," said the same source. They risk dismissal and the outright end of their diplomatic career.
This week, the local Colombian press reported that three Moroccan diplomats would have spent the night with two women in an apartment and were stripped of their belongings after inhaling "scopolamine," or "thieves’ drug". This drug causes "intense delusional hallucinations, loss of control, amnesia, epileptic seizures and respiratory depression." They had solicited the services of the two escorts via the Tinder dating mobile app.
