Moroccan Customs Seizes Assets of "La Crème" Café Owner in Money Laundering Probe

The Moroccan Customs Administration has seized the property of the owner of the "La Crème" café. Mustapha Fechtali, this Rif entrepreneur targeted in 2017 during the Marrakech shootout, was buried under a mountain of cash.
According to the newspaper AlBayane, the real estate assets of the nicknamed Mous were not limited to the city of Marrakech alone. The man had 3 villas in the chic neighborhoods of the ochre city, an apartment in the "Yacht" residence, on the Casablanca corniche, and another in Tangier.
Mustapha Fechtali, owner of a nightclub in the Netherlands, was also a shareholder in the company that owns the "La Crème" café, in the "Capuccino" café in Tangier, and in a real estate company.
A lover of luxury cars, the Moroccan-Dutch had a fleet of vehicles worth 16 million dirhams. Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Bentley, Mercedes, Porsche or Range Rovers were the favorite brands of the native of Nador.
Sentenced to 15 years in prison for international drug trafficking, Mustapha Fechtali, the head of a "Mocro Mafia" organization, had been the target of Ridouan Taghi, during the shooting of November 2, 2017 at the "La Crème" café, in Marrakech.
