Moroccan Customs Officer Faces Disciplinary Action for Wearing Sweatpants on Duty

Odd attire for a law enforcement representative. A customs officer stationed at the Beni Ensar center, in the province of Nador, finds himself in hot water after being caught in full service wearing... sportswear. A dress code violation that constitutes a flagrant breach of internal regulations and could cost him dearly.
The discovery took place during an inspection conducted by a commission of customs services, whose mission was to verify the compliance of professional and organizational practices of agents. As a result of this violation of regulations, the customs officer in question was referred to an internal investigation committee to answer for his actions.
According to an informed source, a temporary suspension of the officer could also be considered. This inspection is part of a regular program of visits conducted by the regional customs directorate, aimed at ensuring compliance with professional discipline by officials.
