Moroccan Crown Prince’s Casual Gesture Goes Viral in Royal Palace Video

A video excerpt of less than 10 seconds in which Prince Moulay Hassan appears, in a gesture that can be described as cool and friendly, very relaxed, has been buzzing on the web for a few hours.
We are in the Throne Room of the Royal Palace in Rabat. At one point in the video sequence in question, we see Prince Moulay Hassan appear, just behind his uncle (Prince Moulay Rachid). As he reaches the height of the camera, the prince delivers a very ordinary gesture, but one that combines friendliness and spontaneity: a "V" sign, with the index and middle fingers of both hands.
The camera in question was broadcasting the images live on YouTube, on the channel of the Spanish media La Vanguardia. This sequence, which was filmed on March 30 in Rabat, during the visit of Pope Francis to Morocco, took place after the speeches of the Sovereign Pontiff and King Mohammed VI on the esplanade of the Hassan Tower, and before the signing of the Al Quds Appeal, in the same Throne Room.
Still available online, this video sequence showing the prince’s brief passage is shared on the Facebook page "Casa bel visa", in the night of May 25 to 26. The video had been viewed 124,000 times, only eleven hours after its publication.
