Moroccan Court Investigates Major Real Estate Fraud in Cabo Negro Project

The court of first instance of Témara is examining the case of the "Les jardins de Cabo Negro" real estate project. A large-scale fraud that has victimized many people.
The owners of this real estate project are being prosecuted at large. They are accused of having defrauded about sixty people. "The promotion and marketing of this project have been carried out by the association office (Wydadia) since 2015 on the basis of an overall plan of the project and apartment plans in addition to photos and the association’s website," the victims told Alyaoum24.
According to their statement, the land on which the project was to be built did not belong to the association. They made this discovery after paying a down payment of around 150,000 dirhams for the acquisition of the apartments. Apartments that they would normally take possession of within a year.
