Moroccan Community in Denmark Holds Vigil for Slain Hikers

Several dozen Moroccans gathered on Sunday evening in Copenhagen to pay tribute to the two young women killed a week ago near Mount Toubkal.
"This gathering, initiated by actors from the associative fabric, was marked by silence to commemorate the murder of the two victims and at the same time express sympathy and comfort to their families during this holiday period," says the MAP.
"With closed faces, they also held up placards bearing the effigies of the two hikers Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, 24, from Denmark, and Maren Ueland, 28, from Norway, found dead last Monday near the village of Imlil, on the road to Mount Toubkal," the same source specifies.
The participants in this gathering expressed their compassion with the families, reiterating their firm condemnation of "this unqualifiable terrorist act".
