Moroccan Climbers Conquer Elbrus, Plant Flag atop Europe’s Highest Peak

Last Thursday, a group of young people managed to fly the Moroccan flag at the top of the Russian and European summit Elbrus. This summit of 5,642 meters in altitude is ranked among the seven highest peaks in the world.
Raising the achievements of Moroccan mountaineering to an international level and making known the growing culture and passion for the mountains in Morocco as well as the Moroccan mountain ranges. This is the challenge taken on by 12 friends from diverse backgrounds in Morocco, by placing the national flag on the roof of Europe, reports Hespress.
Elbrus, which represents one of the many legends of this summit, is an extinct volcano located in the western Caucasus mountains not far from Georgia.
