Moroccan-British Model Nora Attal Weds in Intimate Ceremony, Dons Lanvin Gown

The Moroccan-British model Nora Attal married the director/photographer Victor Bastidas, whom she met at the Samode Palace in Jaipur, India.
Nora Attal and Victor Bastidas said yes for life. "The wedding was quite intimate, mainly family and close friends," the bride tells EnVogueme.com. "We wanted to keep it small. We thought too many people could prevent us from enjoying it. So we asked our closest friends to join us to celebrate. It was such a magical evening." For the occasion, she wore a romantic ivory Lanvin dress with thin straps, which grazed her body before spreading out in panels of delicate lace.
The wedding party menu featured good music, dancing, and meals... "It was so beautiful to dance to salsa, Arab hits, Arab funk and classics... everyone was so happy and we had such a good time," the new Mrs. Bastidas rejoices. "The ceremony was modern. We had a wonderful officiant and we chose to honor our mothers. In fact, it is a Spanish tradition where the mothers both light a candle," she continues.
Before the wedding, the couple celebrated their engagement in Ecuador. "Victor organized our engagement party in Ecuador with his whole family. This trip was crazy, because the day before our flight, the British government announced a new variant (of Covid-19, ed.) and a lockdown. We literally didn’t sleep, we rushed to the airport, left the UK and spent the rest of the month until the end of January in Ecuador. The party was so beautiful under the wide sky of the Ecuadorian countryside. Victor has a large family and is very close to them and they all came to celebrate with us, of course, with a lot of dancing," recounts the 22-year-old model.
