Moroccan Banks Pledge Support for Families, SMEs Amid Coronavirus Crisis

The Professional Group of Banks of Morocco is mobilizing to provide support to families and businesses facing the economic repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic.
In a press release, the GPBM announced that banks are willing to support Moroccan families and businesses, during this crisis period, through a battery of measures, the announcement of which will be made at the next meeting of the Economic Monitoring Committee.
The Group wishes to reassure the public of the banks’ solidarity commitment with families and businesses, particularly small and medium-sized ones, who are having difficulty coping with the fallout from the crisis.
In the same vein, the National Social Security Fund has responded to the call of Moroccan employees and businesses, through a series of measures in their favor.
