The Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) called on Monday for vigilance in the face of an attempted online fraud. According to the bank’s explanations, a platform is currently broadcasting a contest in its name.
"A fraudulent platform is currently broadcasting a pseudo contest in the name of Banque Populaire," warns the BCP. The bank calls on the population not to fall into the trap and specifies that for contests, it always uses its own platforms.
"We remind you that our contests are exclusively broadcast on our own platforms and we invite you to be extra vigilant in the face of scams on the internet," it warns.
