Moroccan Bank BCP Expands Services for Expats in UAE, Launches Investment Initiative

The BCP Group has strengthened its activities in the United Arab Emirates with the launch of new banking operations dedicated to Moroccans living abroad. The objective is to encourage their investments in Morocco.
On October 17 and 18, the group organized three events in Abu Dhabi: the inauguration of a Corporate Finance advisory subsidiary called "BCP Middle East", the launch of the 1st edition of the Bladi Investment Tour dedicated to Moroccans living abroad in the Emirates; and the inauguration of the renovated representative office based in Abu Dhabi.
Approved since 2020, the BCP Middle East subsidiary is based in the Abu Dhabi International Financial Center, one of the most powerful in the region with more than 6,000 companies located there. It is the first pan-African bank to settle in Abu Dhabi Global Market. The objective is to support Moroccan or non-Moroccan investors in their investment projects in Morocco, in the countries of sub-Saharan Africa.
In this sense, the banking group organized in Dubai the 1st edition of the Bladi Investment Tour. An event aimed at Moroccans living abroad in the Emirates or the region, which will be renewed in other parts of the world. The meeting, which saw the participation of real estate professionals, aims to encourage Moroccans living abroad to invest in Morocco, whether they are individuals wishing to invest in real estate or in an industrial or service project. According to BCP, 65,000 Moroccan women and men are established in the United Arab Emirates, a significant number of whom hold qualified positions with proven expertise and a comfortable financial situation.
And to take advantage of this clientele, the banking group inaugurated its representative office in Abu Dhabi, on the occasion of its makeover with the new visual identity of BCP. Established in the Emirates for 15 years already, this branch is the regular contact point for the Moroccan community, a customer of the bank.
