Moroccan Baby Girl First Born in 2022 in Spain’s Castile and León Region

The first baby born in 2022 in Castile and León (northern Spain) is Moroccan. Female, she was born just six minutes after midnight on January 1st and is named Sara.
Sara, of Moroccan father and mother, was born at the Medina del Campo regional hospital and weighs 3.15 kilos at birth, reports Diario Palentino. At the University Hospital (HUBU) in Burgos, the first baby of 2022 is also a girl. Her name is Adriana and she was born half an hour after the start of the new year and weighed 3.03 kilos.

Around 2 a.m., the Salamanca hospital also celebrated its first newborn of 2022, Santiago, a boy weighing 2.88 kilos. Early in the day, a birth, that of Olivia, was recorded at the Río Hortega University Hospital in the city of Valladolid. In the afternoon, another baby, Ángel, was born at the León University Care Complex.
