Moroccan Authorities Bust Human Trafficking Ring in Nador, Arrest 4 Suspects

Early Thursday, July 18, 2019, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie Center in the village of Arkman, in the province of Nador, proceeded to dismantle a network active in the organization of illegal immigration and human trafficking.
A total of four people were arrested, two of whom were wanted at the national level. All are linked to a criminal network active in the organization of illegal immigration and human trafficking.
According to the daily Le Matin, which reports the information, the investigations carried out by the judicial authorities led to the seizure of a Mercedes "Sprint", two inflatable boats and four engines.
Informed of the existence of this criminal network called "Al-Harik", which operates in illegal immigration and human trafficking, in the region, the Royal Gendarmerie of Arkman gathered precise information and carried out a raid early in the morning, succeeding in trapping the gang made up of people aged 25 to 47.
The accused are being held under the control of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in order to detect the extensions of this criminal network in other cities, the same media indicates.
