Moroccan Authorities Allow Private Jets for Mega-Wedding Near Marrakech Amid Flight Restrictions

Hundreds of Americans and Israelis will soon travel to Marrakech for a mega-wedding party. The Moroccan authorities have already authorized the landing of private jets on Moroccan territory during this period of suspension of flights to and from Morocco.
A mega-wedding party, between Israelis, will take place on January 2 and 3, 2022 in Agafay, a rural commune with enchanting landscapes 30 kilometers from Marrakech, to which hundreds of Americans and Israelis are invited, reports Maghreb Intelligence. They will fly on private jets to the ochre city. The Moroccan authorities, who have extended the suspension of all passenger flights to and from Morocco until January 31, 2022, have already authorized the landing of these jets on its territory.
The police and the Royal Gendarmerie have been instructed to deploy hundreds of police officers and gendarmes on site. They will have to ensure the safety of the newlyweds and guests for two days. It is also noted that road rehabilitation and embellishment work leading to the rural commune of Agafay have been undertaken in recent days.
