Moroccan and Spanish Interior Ministers Meet in UAE Amid Security Talks

On the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the International Security Alliance being held in the United Arab Emirates, Moroccan Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit met with his counterpart Fernando Grande Marlasca.
According to Europa Press, this is the first time the ministers have had an exchange session after Spain’s change of position on the Moroccan Sahara. However, nothing has leaked out about the topics discussed during this meeting.
The Moroccan officials were in Dubai to participate in the meeting of the International Security Alliance, whose objective is the fight against "extremism and transnational crimes in its various forms in order to strengthen the security and safety of the member states".
For this 4th edition, the work focused on consolidating relations between member states, especially in the field of protection against electronic risks, extremism and transnational terrorism.
