Moroccan Airline Pilots Offer Unconditional Support for COVID-19 Crisis Flights

Airline pilots want to support the government in managing the COVID-19 health crisis.
Through a press release, the Moroccan Association of Airline Pilots (AMPL) announced, on March 19, its full mobilization, dedication and commitment to assisting the government in managing this crisis.
In this context, it is committed, in an "irrevocable and unconditional" manner, to carry out "any medical flight, humanitarian flight, repatriation flight of our fellow citizens, or any other necessary flight".
The body of airline pilots is keen to recall its experiences in these types of "health and humanitarian" crisis, particularly with the Al Hoceima earthquake in 2004 or the Ebola epidemic, which spread between 2014 and 2016.
As part of the preventive measures against the spread of coronavirus, Morocco had announced, on March 15, the suspension until further notice, of all international passenger flights to and from its territory.
