Moroccan actress Nadia Farès has died
Found unconscious at the bottom of a Parisian swimming pool a few days ago, Nadia Farès succumbed to a heart attack. Her daughters announced the disappearance of this striking figure of the big screen this Friday, April 17.
The unforgettable interpreter of "The Crimson Rivers" passed away at the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital. Nadia Farès had been in a coma there since Sunday, April 12, after being rescued from the pool of a private club in the 9th arrondissement. An ongoing investigation currently rules out any criminal offense.

Her daughters Cylia and Shana mourned the loss of a mother before that of the artist, struck down by this heart incident. The actress had moreover confided to Gala magazine that she had overcome a serious aneurysm in 2007, described as a "time bomb," followed by three major heart operations.
Born in Marrakech in 1968, the actress won over the general public in 2001 before flying off to Los Angeles to start a family. "I have always followed my heart. At the expense of a career, certainly," she said, having returned to live in France after her separation four years ago.

Since her television comeback in 2016 in the series "Marseille," she had been taking on roles one after another. The fifty-something was even preparing to direct her very first feature film in September, an action comedy prepared "through hard work, self-questioning and determination."
