Moroccan Actress Loubna Abidar Demands Payment for Press Interviews

Loubna Abidar has sent a very clear message to journalists. In a post on the social network Facebook, the actress announces that she will no longer give interviews without financial compensation.
"Before my marriage, I had decided not to answer the questions of the Moroccan press for free anymore. It’s my right. I gave two paid press conferences. From now on, all my interviews will have to be paid in advance, except for promotional actions. Those who are not happy are asked not to contact me anymore," she wrote in her post.
The comments of the star of the film "Much loved" were not to the liking of Internet users who felt that the journalist’s profession should not be detached from a professional and credible spirit. For them, it is an attack on the sacredness of the profession.
Her reaction was immediate: "We must distinguish between the interview for the promotion of an artistic work and the endless conflicting debates and dialogues. Failing to be paid, I would prefer not to do them".
