Montpellier Weighs Cost of World Cup Star Attiyat Allah Transfer

Coveted by many European clubs, including Montpellier, Moroccan international Yahia Attiyat Allah could leave Wydad before the end of the transfer window, scheduled for January 30. The Moroccan club has set the amount for which it could sell its defender.
Yahia Attiyat Allah participated in Morocco’s great adventure at the 2022 World Cup. This new status has increased his market value, to the delight of Wydad Casablanca. Since then, the Moroccan defender has been the target of several European clubs, including Montpellier. The 27-year-old player would have himself expressed his desire to join the French club.
However, no agreement has yet been reached between the two clubs, the negotiations are ongoing, reports RMC Sport, which specifies that the WAC is demanding 1.2 million euros while Montpellier has so far offered 700,000 euros plus 10% on a future resale. The Hérault club does not intend to pay the requested amount, it is added.
In addition, the Botola player is also on Anderlecht’s radar, who would like to recruit him to strengthen his defense for the second part of the season.
