Mondial U17 Maroc-USA : schedule and details of the round of 16

FIFA announced on Wednesday the schedule of the match. The match between Morocco and the United States will be held this Friday, November 14 at 4:45 pm (local time) on the pitch of stadium no. 7 of the Aspire Zone complex in Doha. This will be the third confrontation between the two teams in less than a year and a half, after Moroccan victories at the Olympics and the U20 World Cup.

However, the organizing committee specified that access to this match will be very limited. Only 1,500 spectators will be able to attend, with access only through the "Prime Pass" system with pre-booked tickets. We should therefore see a large number of Moroccans.

Qualification obtained thanks to a record victory

Morocco approaches this knockout stage after a spectacular and almost strange group stage. Nabil Baha’s men finished third in Group B, after suffering two defeats (0-2 against Japan and 0-6 against Portugal).

It was their last match that allowed them to qualify. The Cubs crushed New Caledonia 16-0, not only scoring the best attack in the group stage, but also the biggest win in the history of the U17 World Cup, beating a record that had stood since 1997.
