Molenbeek Charity Serves Free Meals to Community in Need

"Baraka Solidarité" is the name of the association run by Malika Saïssi in Molenbeek, which, with the help of volunteers, offers free meals to people in need. The initiative started during the lockdown to encourage people to come out of isolation.
Many volunteers are rushing to the association’s doors to offer varied meals to all those whose path passes through Molenbeek. This attention, this attentive ear, these gestures of support are so important that the Royal Palace has heard about it and invited Malika as part of "Be Heroes", a highlighting of these everyday heroes, reports bx1.be.
In front of the restaurant, large tables to welcome and serve food to all those who wish. For Malika, "the world would be good if everyone gave of their time, their generosity to help those in need." Malika dedicates the royal recognition to "all the volunteers who give of their time, who abandon their families for a whole day, who are not afraid to get dirty, who make sacrifices for the happiness of others."
Malika hopes that being a laureate of "Be Heroes" will help her find more funds to help even more people.
