Mobile Consulate Serves Moroccan Expats in Charleroi, Belgium

The Moroccan Consulate General in Liège and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg organized, on Saturday, a mobile consular service to allow the Moroccan community residing in Charleroi and the surrounding area to benefit from various administrative services.
The initiative was strongly attended by members of the Moroccan community. About 200 people were able to collect their national identity cards, passports and various documents, according to a statement from the Consulate. The mobile consulate also proceeded with the registration of Moroccan nationals and legal consultations.
The Consul General of the Kingdom, Abdelkader Abidine, took the opportunity to exchange with the deputy-mayor of Farciennes, Hugues Bayet, the alderman Ozcan Nizam and the municipal councilor Nadia Mouttaki, on the socio-economic opportunities of the region as well as the role played by the Moroccan community in the development of this region.
In turn, the deputy-mayor met with the young executives of the Moroccan community, and, accompanied by the consul, visited the Moroccan school in charge of teaching the Arabic language "Life Training Academy".
